LED lights are superior to incandescent (traditional lights) in every way.

LED lights will dramatically reduce your current electrical power consumption for lighting and are even more important in today’s environment with constantly rising power prices.

LED Lights have extremely low power consumption and savings on your lighting costs can be up to 80%.

LED lights are the most energy-efficient way of lighting– they have an 80-90% efficiency, which means 80-90% of their energy is turned into light rather than heat. In comparison, incandescent bulbs lose 80% of their energy as heat and so are only 20% efficient.

LED lights produce light for specific directional light up to 180 degrees. In comparison, incandescent lightbulbs produce light for a full 360 degrees and as a result, with these bulbs, you are paying to lighten up your ceiling cavity!

The energy efficiency of LED lights is increasingly more important with homeowners today as we look towards both economic savings and adopting higher environmental responsibilities.

The average incandescent light will typically last up to 2,000 hours, but most LED lights today will last at least 25,000 hours, over 10 times longer.

As a result, the frustration of constantly purchasing and replacing lights around the house disappears.

In addition, LED lights are robust and hard-wearing. They are not fragile bulbs but based on Light-Emitting Diodes they are robust and capable of operating in harsh environments including external lights.

LED lights have a much lower impact on the environment.

Unlike traditional bulbs, LED lighting does not contain harmful mercury.

They are also 100% recyclable.

Using LED lights will help you reduce your carbon footprint by approximately a third.

As noted above, LED lights are on average 85% efficient and use on average up to 85% less electricity with less energy wasted with heat generation or heat and light dissipating into your ceiling space.

Traditional bulbs and halogens generate significant heat which can create problems when insulation is positioned against the downlights in the ceiling. LED lights generate only a fraction of the heat and are far safer in residential homes.

LED lights have a range of different styles to suit different environments. These can be very bright cool white to warm, depending on what the customer wants. In addition, some lights can dim down from warm white to an orange hue to create a unique mood in a room.

LED lights have superior capability with dimming and providing focused lighting directed to a feature wall or painting.
