Charging your Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner

1 September 2022

There has been a steady migration in NZ homes from traditional plug-in vacuum cleaners to battery operated Cordless Stick Vacuums.
Like the tool shed and cars, our appliances and tools are moving to more flexible and efficient battery power as the battery technology gets better and for lower cost.

People love the battery powered stick vacuum cleaners except there has been one emerging problem that often causes issues.

Stick vacuums, no matter the brand, colour or size, do not make great aesthetic features in your lounge or living room.

Stick vacuums need to be charged and houses are rarely constructed with power points in cupboards and storage areas.

As a result of charging a stick vacuum, it often has to be in a living area in your home–which is not a brilliant look.

AB Electrical understand the issue and can add a power point to most storage/cupboard areas enabling you to both store and charge your stick vacuum at the same time, and importantly, avoid the vacuum attempting to be a feature in a lounge while charging.

Most of the time, adding a power point is not a big job, but gives the home owner immense relief from the frustration of not having a suitable place to charge and store.

If you would like AB Electrical to help banish your stick vacuum from the lounge, we would be happy to add a power point in a suitable cupboard or storage area so you can charge ‘out of sight, out of mind’

You may also have a couple of small electrical jobs that need doing, so this is an excuse to make a visit from AB Electrical more worth while.
